Andrea Trepp, a Swiss-certified mountain guide and at home in the Graubünden Alps, accompanies you with experience and calm through the alpine winter around Splügen and the Rheinwald region. In small groups, he shares his knowledge in a practical and easy-to-understand way – always tailored to your level and the current conditions.
Whether ski touring, off-piste technique or avalanche courses: you’ll learn to move more safely, make better decisions and experience winter outdoors with confidence.
All tours can also be booked as private tours and individually adapted for an exclusive experience on a date of your choice.

3 days of off-piste training on and off the slopes in Splügen

The ideal course to learn off-piste skiing and refine your technique. The ski area is perfectly suited for intensive training both on and beside the piste. Targeted exercises on slopes and off-piste help you make fast progress.

Avalanche course in theory and practice for beginners
Do you enjoy winter tours and are interested in the complex topic of snow and avalanches?
In this introductory avalanche course, Andrea Trepp teaches you the essential basics of avalanche knowlege and the correct use of avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel.
Course content:
• Factors contributing to avalanche formation
• Interpreting the avalanche bulletin
• Recognising warning signs
• Rules of thumb for tour planning and decision-making in the field
• Identifying and measuring steep slopes on maps and in the terrain
• Use of avalanche transceiver (LVS), probe and shovel
• Working with selected tools from www.whiterisk.ch by the SLF

Introductory Avalanche Course
In this avalanche course and coaching tours, you’ll learn how to better assess risk, make smarter decisions and head out on tours with greater confidence – whether on skis, snowboard or snowshoes.

Being safe in winter terrain starts with the right knowledge. You’ll gain practical avalanche know-how covering avalanche bulletins, slope assessment, track setting, transceiver search and risk management – taught clearly, outdoors in real terrain and with a strong focus on practice.
